How system will be calculated derpreciation if we change life of the assets

Hi Team,

If i updated system life of period from 4 years (48 Months) to 10 Years (120 Months)...

what is the system behavior and i changed this in the month of 36 Months ..., not run depreciation.

what is the accumulated depreciation and future depreciation.

As per my knowledge system will be calculated future depreciation based on the NAV of that date and based on new life of the assets.

Correct me if i am incorrect.
