Datafile Needs Recovery after Server Reboot.

We are in the late proof of concept stage of a data centre migration. We have used SAN disk synchronisation techniques to move the data from one data centre to the other,

We are using ASM storage. Oracle 11.2.0.4 Standard Edition database. It's a non-RAC setup.

We have a cold failover setup with ASM instances running on two servers and failover of the ASM storage just involves dismounting on one node and a mounting on the other.

After the sync had completed The database came up fine on Node1 we failed over to Node2.

That worked fine (after executing oracleadm scandisks),
