Tape drive Path status: Not Ready in luxadm

in Oracle Tape Hardware (MOSC) Question

Hi,

This is a newly installed library it will be integrated with Oracle HSM.

However i found that all 4 drives have the path status not ready even though i can see all 4 drives in iostat and cfgadm.

Is this normal?
