Changing price in PO release

Hello - I have created a BPA with one line, one item, Item price mentioned in BPA is 1000, when i created a release for the same BPA for the same item/line, price 1000 populated in release.

i approved the Release. now for some reason i changed the line price in BPA to 1500 and approved the BPA. But in the earlier created release price is still showing as 1000. so how can i change the price to the new price in previous created release? There is a option in release form - tools menu - Recalculate price, via which we can achieve this. but "Recalculate Price" is coming Greyed out? Can anyone please suggest a solution for this..
