Item long description update (Item Master form),change is not reflected on existing BPA lines

Item long description update (Item Master form),change is not reflected on existing BPA lines

Hi,

 

If change in Item Long Description does not update Existing BPA Line, then how the data will be synchronize.

 

see Business Case:

 

Initially Item Long Description may be : abc123

After certain time there might be a revision for Item & item Long Description: abc12345

 

how this new update of item Long description will synchronize with BPA line, and business cannot create a new line again and again with same item to a existing BPA (with same details but only change in item long description & this cannot be suggested as good practice).
