How to correct asset's in service date after period is closed

Hi

Any recommended process to correct incorrectly created asset's in service date via project costing (BPC)?

Current situation is as follow:

1. an asset was created using incorrect transaction date 6/12/2017 which should have been 8/25/2016 to begin its depreciation from 8/25/2016.

2. asset is created and period 6 is closed for AM and GL.

What options are available to correct the service date for this interfaced asset from project costing?

We are on PT 8.53.03  FSCM 9.1 MP 11 & Bundle #25
