Correcting the spelling of a Unit of Measure

I have several units of measure that are not spelled correctly. I don't need to change the UOM, just the Name and/or the description (i.e. we have "CENTERMETER" instead of CENTIMETER). This isn't causing any transactional problems, it just looks less than professional and bothers me.

Any suggestions on how to do this? I'm guessing it hasn't been done because it is too difficult, but I have to ask. Thanks!
