Prototyping Oracle Assets - Can you help us newbies with tips and knowledge and advice?

Hello.  We are looking as to whether Oracle Assets might fit in our org.  We were planning on going through a prototype exercise, to validate that some of our key requirements and test the system's functionality.

I'm looking for information that help us with this task.

• What were your experiences?
• What would you have done differently?
• What things must we be aware of as part of the initial setup and configuration?
• What were your main sources of reference (beyond user and configuration guides)?
• etc.

We are trying to develop a plan of attack for this, such as determining who should be involved in this excercise, a list of coarse scenarios we'd want to test, etc.
