Oracle Database 11g Release 11.2.0.3.0 – 64bit Production
PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.3.0 – Production
CORE 11.2.0.3.0 Production
TNS for 64-bit Windows: Version 11.2.0.3.0 – Production
NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.3.0 – Production

There’s a .hdmp file creation causing issues on the computer.

We started getting issues with no more space on the hard drive, and found there are large .hdmp files being created in the C:\Windows\Temp directory.

Checking the accompanying files, the appcompat.txt file indicates ORACLE.EXE, orageneric11.dll and kernal32.dll. The WERInternalMetadata.xml file also confirms ORACLE.EXE and orageneric11.dll.

Looking in the Event Viewer around the times these .hdmp files are created, it indicates the computer was either shut down or restarted.

Howdy, Stranger!
