iStore User logins in properly but store changes to a different customer account after Configurator

Here is the situation:  Our customer logins in to iStore and begins placing their order.  Some of their order goes through Configurator and when she selects Finish and the order line goes to the shopping cart she sees that she is logged in by a completely different person/company that she or her company has no reference to.  Each time that it happens she sees a different company and not her own.  This does not happen every time, just on occasion.  I was able to reproduce and found that an error message from Configurator flashes across the screen.
