Turning off Lots Commitment after go-live

We are looking at moving our lot control from a 3 to the 0 (optional) due to many issue (integrity) that are happening within transfers and shipping.   We would like to know if anyone out there has done this after go live and what Gotcha's have you seen. 

We are running test in our PY environment but we just know are missing or will miss something in the testing.

We have all modules including manufacturing, Transportation, inventory, procurement and sales where the lots will be impacted.

Any help or advise would be grateful.
