Clearing accounts on sub account level

Hi,

We have two segments for natural account . 1 is for main account that is "Account" segment and other is " Sub-Account" segment.

We are going to maintain clearing account like " Asset Clearing account" for categories bank clearing account on Sub-Account level instead of main account.

Like we are creating main account for Asset category like plant & machinery but clearing account for plan & machinery is created on sub account level.

what will be the impact of sub-account on reporting . or is it the best practice, what is the recommended way.
