Issue opening attachment in ARM

We have a user that can't open attachments in ARM. When she tries to open the attachment she is prompted with - Are you sure you want to leave this page? 

If she clicks stay, attachment does not open.

If she clicks leave, she is able to open attachment but when she tries to go back to the recon she cannon navigate to the other tabs (i.e explained balance tab).

She gets this screen and has to close out of reconciliation manager and log on again - we believe this might be an IE setting but we are unsure what is causing this.
