adop patching options

Hi Experts ,

I am applying the 22 gst patches ijn that one patch get failed while generating the forms

my doubt is we can use adop phase=apply patches=1111 abandon=yes and restart=no options=nogenerateportion

and my patch is applied successfully

or if instead of options=nogenerateportion flags=autoskip then also patch applied successfully which one is better

if we go for options=nogenerateportion then at what are the post patch steps are required

and in which stage like before or after finalize or cutover

This options will not generate

so after cutover we can use adadmin and generate the message file,generate the form,generate the report  please explain
