Is LSI Megaraid able to rebuild new disk automatically?

Hi,

1 of the disk in T3-2 is faulty and it has already been removed from the server.

We are not able to install the MegaCLI or Megaraid Storage Manager for the time being as it requires approval.

So in the mean time, the disk needs to be replaced to avoid data loss.

Without all the Mega suites of software, will the logical volume rebuild itself after inserting a new disk into the same slot?

I used type a few MegaCLI commands prior to disk replacement, however when i am accessing it through the storage manager, the disk seemed to rebuild itself.
