Make Product Attribute required conditionally

Hi,

I am trying to make Product Attribute required conditionally. I tried Product Constraints but was not successful. It sounded easy to me initially, but may be I am not doing the right thing. please suggest.

Example: When Product A is selected, make the Attribute A a required field else not required.
