OWJRNL for two JDE releases (9.1 & 9.2)

All,

Anybody have come across this situation, we have existing JDE 9.1 (TR 9.1.5.5) on AS400 V7R2 machine and JDE service (6016 - with different IPC) is up and running, we are trying to install 9.2 PP enterprise server (6017) on the same AS400 machine, during 9.2 installation it is failed for OWJRNL library. We have plan to use same OWJRNL for both releases.

Could you please clarify the below points:

1. Before start 9.2 install do we need to stop 9.1 JDE service & End OWJRNL?

2. Do we need to rename OWJRNL library before start 9.2 installation? If we stop JDE & rename 9.1's OWJRNL will it impact any data loss (transaction commitment error) for exiting 9.1 data?
