Agile PLM in a cloud environment

Hello everyone,

We are starting to look into hosting our entire Agile PLM (or just part of it) in oracle cloud. I am wondering if anybody in the community has done or considered this before? I have researched online and in the oracle support site but I cannot find good information about it.

There are few providers that offer Agile PLM in the cloud, but it seems (not confirmed) that the providers will be in total control of the whole system.

What we are thinking right now is to start with hosting the infrastructure (app servers, file managers, DB servers) in the cloud, but we will still do everything else (administration, maintenance, patching etc.)
