Tracking IB within different ORGS with different Serial Number setup

Hi Community Members,

We have one Item in SOURCE ORG that is set as : IB trackable, NO Serial Control, Lot controlled. This is our spares area.

We ship a lot of product from the spares area to other location where manufacturing or service is happening. The same Item in DESTINATION ORG where the material is shipped is setup as: IB Trackable, Serial Control at Receipt, NO lot control.

Now, we created one internal Sales order to ship the items from Source to Destination. How would IB/SN work in this case.

Lifecycle:

1.) Instance is brought in the source for the first time (let's say misc receipt or PO receipt). Instance created 123, No serial number, Lot number = 789
