software items in Order management with out linking to any sales order having Finished Good

in Lease and Finance Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi ,

I want to sell only software items in Order management with out linking to any sales order having Finished Good.

Where software items having UOM as EA and i want to capture validity for the software items through Service start and End dates in Service tab of Order management line level.

Don't want to create two items i.e one for software ,one for capturing validity of the software.

i want one software item should fulfill both the needs.
