Disabling Work Edit on CTI

Hi,

How can I disable CTI field 'Work Edit'? It should be Read Only in custom Configuration.

I create an Event Handler for event 'GCSInService' with parameters:

     ServiceMethod = Communications Client.ShowStatusText

     ServiceParam.Messages = <command name="EnableControl" control="Work Edit" value="false" />

also I've tried to use Event Response Parameters with this values. Both methods not work

We use Siebel 15.4.0.0 SIA and telephony Genesys.
