How to enable/disable PTO Models using date "from" & "to"

R12.2.5, using PTO models with optional components.

How can we control the effectivity dates of PTO Model BOMs at the BOM header level?

We have 1,000s of PTO models which we need to control the effectivity dates on – at the model BOM level not the individual components.  We setup PTO Models for sale through OM, and need to inactivate the entire PTO model from being saleable in OM but later in the same year we need to re-activate the same PTO model (when we have the inventory – activate the PTO Model, when we are out of inventory inactivate the PTO model, etc..)  This can be a major activity as we can encounter situations where we need to inactivate 4-500 PTO Models
