Open GL Period for Subledger Transactions

Dear All,

Our General Ledger Super user used to open current GL period at beginning of each month to allow subledger users opening periods and create transactions on the subledger; then he close GL period to complete closing process; this time only inventory super users complains that they can't crate transactions; although receivables and payables can create transactions normally.

Why inventory checks GL period status? and how to overcome that?

We are using EBS 12.1.2; DB: 11.1.10.7.
