Positive Pay for Interim Workbench

I have a request from the end user (Payroll Dept) for positive pay from the interim payroll workbench.  I've been investigating, but I'm coming to the conclusion that the interim workbench is rolled into the final payroll and this is where payments that are produced from the interim, will be finalized in the final update of the payroll written in.

If anyone has any information around positive pay in the interim workbench I'd appreciate your comments.
