oracle database file location on RAC one Node

Hello Experts,

I have few dumb question on oracle RAC one node. we have set  ODA(oracle database appliance ) running on oracle 11g version.

our team members  created oracle one node RAC setup with two ODA's. one is active and second one is passive.

when i look at the data files location , I noticed that oracle database files are  kept on acfs file system rather than ask disk groups.

is this standard in RAC once node ?

what could be the reason to create acfs volume, file system on disk group and keep data files on acfs file system?

can't we keep oracle data file on ASM disk group?
