orachk Cloud Control 13.2 feedback

Today, I have tested orachk for Cloud Control 13.2 and found these things to be noteworthy. In the current state, the cloud control checks seem unusable.

 

  • When old OMS Homes are still listed in oraInventory/Contents/inventory.xml with flag REMOVED=T, orachk does not honor the REMOVED flag and still wants to execute commands on previous removed OMS Home
  • There seems to be an issue that after starting orachk, this is displayed:

 

./orachk

This computer is for [S]ingle instance database or part of a [C]luster to run RAC database [S|C] [C]:S

./orachk: line 14861: /OraBase/oms12c/mw12cR5/oms/bin/emctl: No such file or directory
