Build a standby site, is DRBD is good solution for the storage replication?

Hi,

Our OEM is at 12.1.0.5 now and has no standby site. I'm working on upgrading it to 13.2 and will use the "Upgrading Enterprise Manager and Transitioning to DR Readiness" upgrade process.

For the required storage replication between primary and standby site, our system administrator suggest to use DRBD.

I'm wondering what storage replication chronology other people use.

If we use DRBD, the storage cannot be concurrently mounted on the primary and standby, will it be a problem? From my reading, it is not a problem. But I'm wondering what other people thinks.
