Oracle DB, Hibernate and Java = poor execute to parse ratio?

edited Sep 4, 2017 5:00AM in Database Tuning (MOSC) 12 commentsAnswered

Hi,

At my current job we are using Oracle 11.2.0.4 along with Hibernate and java. We are seeing really poor execute to parse ratios (like 0,11). I understand that you can cache queries in Hibernate, but are there anything else that can be done, some things to look for in the database setup?

Any one with experience of Oracle and Hibernate, please feel free to share your experiance!
