How to set pov with Jython in BefImport

Hi experts, and sorry this has to be very simple..

My challenges is the case we will start to load some data every night - one day information. We will have the data populated into OIT by 3rd party. There can also be separate column to hold the date. Target is HFM. And we have thought to automate the load by patching. So the Period POV needs to be based on incoming data.

Supposing I can read for example the first row from OIT first and get the date information.

The question is - how can I change/set the Period POV in BefImport script?
