Siebel - Integration WF failing at step Query (EAI Siebel Adapter) - Error: SBL-DBC-00108, SBL-EAI-0

Hi,

We are facing intermittent failure in one of the production environment for one integration workflow and the error logged is as below:

Method 'Execute' of business component 'XX' (integration component 'YY') returned the following error:

"An error has occurred preparing a Sql statement. Please continue or ask your system administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists. (SBL-DBC-00108)" SBL-EAI-04376 -- Error invoking service 'EAI Siebel Adapter', method 'Query' at step 'Query Data'. (SBL-BPR-00162)

because of limited logging level, not many details are currently available in the logs. There has not been any change in the Siebel application or database or upgrades recently. Would you please help me with the possible root cause for this issue?
