Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hi,

We are planning to upgrade our database from oracle 10g(10.2.0.5) to 12c(12.2.0.1).

a. is direct upgrade possible for the above version?

b. if a is not possible, what is intermediate upgrade version to upgrade first and then to 12.2.0.1?

c. What is downgrade method if in case of fall back to older version?
