Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Updating .XML file causes report to Run forever!!

Hello BI Publisher Experts,

I Opened .xml in Notepad and did a minor update to Select Clause.

Once, Saved and Uploaded to Data Template and upon Submission of the Report, it just keeps 'Running'

DBA's say the Select is running while it is supposed to return 4 rows and the actual report runs in few secs.

Need insight into wht the issue could be? Is here a special process to Edit an .XML file?
