MRP - Ending Firm Order Status

Hello,

Could someone please clarify how the 'Ending Firm Order Status' processing option of the MRP Generation UBE (R3483) really works?  We thought MRP is supposed to discount lower level requirements if the parent WO is at the status defined in this option.  For instance, if status '45' is defined, then any lower-level requirements for WOs at '45' should not be considered as demand.  However, this does not seem to be the case.  MRP still counts these as demand if they have not yet been issued in the Parts List....

Is there a bug reported on this setting?
