Delete element entry for all the employee.

I have a requirement- I need to delete(end date) element entry for all the employees. All the reference I came across says I should use py_element_entry_api.DELETE_ELEMENT_ENTRY but the documentation of API says "

This version of the API is now out-of-date however it has been provided to  you for backward compatibility support and will be removed in the future" . Is there a alternate API available to use instead of this?
