E1 Software Change Control - 9.2
Hi,
We are currently in planning stage of an upgrade from E1 8.11 to 9.2.1.4, as part of this we require a way of managing E1 software changes (submitting/approving object changes & deployments etc).
We currently have a custom tool written in MS Access that was written by a single person who has now left that is very bespoke towards E1 and our business, this tool is very outdated and difficult to edit. We would prefer to use a more industry standard tool that can be more easily customized and supported.
I have been informed that these kinds of features can be set up in E1 itself although I can't find any examples or documentation of anyone that has done this. Does anyone have any details of how they manage E1 software changes? Maybe a third party tool? Something built into E1? A simple spreadsheet?
