In implementing an Oracle eBS application on a 12c database, I am concerned about performance impacts. Should I be I am implementing a 12C database built on an Oracle Engineered SuperCluster (T7-8). I have been told by the implementers that full database encryption will 1. Full database encryption will lead to an overly complex system for cloning, support, patching, upgrades and administration. 2. The database ASM storage is based on the highly protected and dedicated Exadata Storage Cells and that this is sufficient. 3. The highest risk to data at rest is normally backups and import/export database files. 4. Data
