Lines split by ship confirm BSSV B4200450 don't reduce the quantity on original line

Hi ALL,

Recently we have proposed a solution of using BSSV which calls business function so that same shipment no is retained on split line during batch ship confirmation.

Using BSSV we could retain shipment no but it has caused another issue of quantity on original line not getting reduced after lines are split.

So if i am shipping 50 qty for 3 location and I am picking 48,1,1 from respective location my SO doesn't update the qty on original line.

Instead my SO detail line looks like 50,1,1 resp.

I would appreciate if someone has come across this issue or throw some insights which will be helpful to figure out a workable solution around this.
