Importing par file from lower release to higher release

Hi - We are in the process of removing unused objects from our current JDE release . We are doing this cleanup exercise before we plan to upgrade to JDE 9.2 .

As a safety net , we would like to save these unused objects in case these are required later in 9.2 .

Wanted to know the following  :

1. What are the recommended steps for deleting these objects?

2.What are the recommended steps for saving these objects so that these can be imported in 9.2 if required at a later time ?
