Upgrading Vertex to 4.2.2 JDE Enterprise One 9.1 - 9.2 tools

Our version of vertex stopped being supported and dat updated in April.  I am trying to upgrade to 4.2.2  vertex, running JDE 9.1 tools release 9.2.x.  Is there any documented issue with other customers using this upgrade and having issue with JDE, the payroll process or vertex calculating.  Sometimes there has been instance where we had to take an ESU?
