9.2.1.4 Media objects in database

We are doing the tools only upgrade to 9.2.1.4 in stages(we are on app 9.1).

We will be upgrading DV environment first and we will stay in multi-foundation.

We are planning to take advantage of the new media object storage and move them to database.

My question is, can this be done for one environment at a time?

1. I believe I need to run R98MODAT after the tools upgrade is done to move the media objects to database, does it move all media objects from all environments to DB?

2. also does it move them or just copies them so that we will still have originals in the file systems?
