Installing JDE Standalone 9.2

In process of installing JDE Demo Standalone 9.2 and when I tried to install the EnterpriseOne 12C Database Engine at the end I receive a Java Platform SE Binary error message.

running this on a Window 10 operating system with a Java version of 1.8.0_144.   I see most documentation refer to Java version of 1.7. - Could the newer version of Java be an issue for this install?
