Lot level Item cost vs. Order Line Margin check
Hello, we are implementing JDE 9.2, currently using Item Cost at Item/Branch level, however we're considering changing this during the upgrade to Lot Level costing. This means however when entering a Sales Order no Unit Cost is available yet, therefore a 100% Margin is shown.
Only when when a Lot number is assigned later on by Pick slip program the Unit Cost is populated, we do not want Customer Service to select a Lot themselves to ensure FIFO, but we'd like to keep Margin check in place.
has anyone come across this scenario of having Lot level Item cost and applying Margin Holds?
