Notifications during IR to ISO process

Here is my requirement. if the user created Internal requisitoin and System autoamtically creates Internal Sales order ( standard oracle process),  any changes to the  ISO ( Arrival date changes) or if the ISO is shipped or cancelled, we need to get the notifications to the requestor ( requstor who created the IR). Is it possible with Std. oracle notifications? Any body implemented this functionality. if yes, pl. share me any Note ID or any documents would help.
