How to manage equipment / asset in work order routing?

Hi everyone,

I need to learn how can I use "equipment number" field best way in manufacturing work orders. I have tool equipments related to item and I need to define item and tool relationship. I think routing is the best way. I need to hold tool equipment in some cases and not to use in work orders. Also, I need to do capacity plan based on tool equipment.

Do you have any documents for defining equipment in routing?
