Unicode Conversion SQL Server configuration

Hello,

We are upgrading from 9.1 to 9.2.  9.1 is non Unicode, so we need to do the conversion during this upgrade.  We are moving from SQL Server 2008 R2 to SQL Server 2012.  Our first Unicode conversion went fine single threaded.  We set it up to run multitrhreaded (3 threads) and it crashed after filling the transaction log disk.  Confession to make - I rushed to get this done yesterday and I didn't check the recovery model after the restore of the 9.1 database and it was set to simple and I did not have any logging running during the
