how to control scrolling in form applets after clicking 'save'

we have a big form applet in Open UI and it uses two modes Base & Edit. When 'Edit' is clicked and cursor is left at any of the field while editing the click of 'Save' button scrolls the window to that field. User has to scroll up and click submit again. Is there a way to control this to force Siebel not to remember the previous focus field when save is clicked or can we control or override scrolling in general when switching between Base and Edit modes in a Form Applet ?

We are using IP2015 OUI.
