Migrating OTM custom report from Embedded BI Publisher 10g to Standalone 11g

Hello all,

We are in the process of upgrading our OTM from 6.2.10 to 6.4.2. Part of this is the migration of custom Bi reports from embedded BI Publisher to Standalone BIP 11g.

My understanding by going through the OTM Report Designer guide and other resources, query templates needs to be rebuilt as BIP 11g data models and in some cases it is possible to re-use the format templates (*.rtf) in 11g but if you queries are complex and uses multiple groups then straight away re using the format templates doesn't work.

While we are going through this process of migrating huge number of custom reports we have I'm trying to see if there is any other alternatives available which makes this migrating process relatively easier and not time consuming.
