R12 - Is it possible to have a unique JE Reporting Sequencing for ALL the sources (Manual and SLA en

Hi all,

As it is explained in the title, we need to have a unique sequencing numbering assigned for all our posted journal entries in GL no matter where they were created (Manually in GL or if they are from SLA).

Checking the note "Reporting and Accounting Sequences in R12 : A Whitepaper ( Doc ID 1336723.1 ) " from page #20 to #25 there is an example of a sequence setup and how the numbers were assigned to different JEs and, as per the datails in page #22, the same configuration works for Manual JEs and SLA JEs.  However, when I tried the same setup it did not work as expected.
