Known Issues with Printing Text Attachments on a Report

Special Character is not Interpreted Correctly in Reports when Taken from a Media Object Text Attachment

Sometimes special characters, such as the Polish character "Ł" are not correctly interpreted in reports when taken from media object text attachment. The issue happens when getting the character from a Media Object text attachment and printing it on a report. The Polish character is correctly displayed within the interactive application Media Object Viewer.

When the Media Object text attachment was created, the Polish character was copied and pasted from Microsoft Excel directly into the Media Object text editor . Doing this or doing a copy paste via Notepad will produce the same results. The 'source' formatting and encoding are not preserved. This functionality is a result of the Microsoft code being used for the text attachments.

Howdy, Stranger!
