Solaris 10 Installpatchset of 10_Recommend.zip not able to reboot
We have downloaded the Solaris 10_Recommended.zip patch file and run the installpatchset command to install the patch.
However, we did not aware of an error when executing patch 147147-26 and then we reboot the system, the system is boot in panic and the kernel version is running in 147147-26 now, and it can not understand some of our configuration in the system such as the process and project in the /etc/system, and it can not mount the MD drive and can not boot up.
I put in a solaris 10 DVD rom >ok boot cdrom -s and is able to mount the working directory, and can access to the log to see it has error in the patch install process. But the filesystem does not have the patch on it because my colleague have accidentally install the all the installation file in /tmp which is a swap mount point.. and when i try to patchrm 147147-26, Seem that 146147-26 is a kernel patch, it say it does not have the backup file to restore and can not remove the patch and i can not
